About Pastor Andrew & Day Marshall

Pastor Andrew Marshall and his wife Day are recent transplants to New England from the Pacific Northwest. They have been married 15 years and have dedicated their lives to ministry. Most recently, Andrew served as associate pastor at The Bridge Community Church of the Nazarene in Stevenson, Washington. Andrew and Day consider themselves a team and have collaborated on a wide variety of ministries from music to discipleship, youth to missions and outreach.

Pastor Andrew graduated from Multnomah Bible College in Portland, Oregon in 2007 with majors in Biblical Studies and Pastoral Ministry. In 2010, he earned a Master of Arts in Teaching degree from Concordia University, also in Portland. His desire is to engage the community for Christ through the local church as well as the local school system. Currently, he is seeking a full-time teaching position in the Framingham area.

In 2009, Day graduated from Multnomah with majors in Biblical Studies and Educational Ministries, and is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Counseling degree through Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. She plans to graduate in 2013.

Within the church, Pastor Andrew and Day are passionate about deepening faith and wisdom of Christians. A group of believers who have maturity in Christ is an essential part of effective ministry. Starting with the foundation is the only way to build. Making sure our foundation is solid is a key element to developing ministries that are meaningful and relationships that reflect the family of God.

Together Pastor Andrew and Day hope to engage the Framingham community by partnering with existing outreach efforts, as well as assessing new opportunities to serve the Framingham area where needs exist. Possessing a heart to embrace the beautiful tapestry of ethnic diversity in our area, Pastor Andrew and Day hope to build upon the strengths existing in community to foster a church presence outside the walls of the building at 115 Edgebrook. They earnestly desire to see the church fulfill its mission to be the presence of Christ in the community, the city, and the world.

“One of our greatest desires is to see our local community impacted by Framingham Church of the Nazarene as the church body moves among the people we encounter every day,” says Pastor Andrew. “We participated in making that a reality in Washington state, and we are very much committed to bringing that heart to Framingham. We want to do two things very well: 1) learn to love people right where they are in our daily lives, and 2) find ways to serve those people with our sole motivation being glorifying Christ. That kind of honest, transparent love and service is what I believe the church is supposed to bring to the community.”
